Haier Wi-Fi module MRV systems
Remote management of large systems (MRV) has never been easier and more affordable!
You can now use the new WiFi module to control all units in real time from your smartphone.
As the company with the largest market share in smart / connectable air conditioners (two years in a row), Haier brings yet another smart solution, complementing its standard individual WiFi module for single and multi split systems (RAC and LCAC).
MRV Haier Wi-Fi module HI-WA164DB
The Haier Wi-Fi module enables simple and convenient control of connected indoor units via an app installed on an iOS or Android smartphone or tablet. The module connects to the local WiFi network, logs on to the server and uses the Cloud system for remote real-time control of the units. Assigning the module to the app is very easy – just follow the instructions in the app.
Application:
- Businesses
- Supermarkets
- Small and medium-sized hotels
- Bank branches, etc.
Control functions
- On / off, temperature setting, timer settings, weekly programming, fan speed
- Overview of alarms and error history
- Division of control rights: local, central, local controller lock
- User account management (account registration, password change via the app)
One Wi-Fi module can control up to 64 indoor units, and a combination of WiFi modules up to 256 indoor units in the app under one user account. The app allows full individual and group control. It lets you set user rights or levels of user control.
Connecting MRV5 systems
MRV5 outdoor units come as standard with a communication converter or Modbus RS485 output. The WiFi module can therefore be connected directly to the outdoor unit terminals, and all indoor units are then loaded into the app.
Connecting MRV-S and MRV-C systems
To connect these systems, the HA-MA164AD communication converter must be installed, and the WiFi module is connected to it.
Connecting single split, multi split systems or combinations with MRV
The Haier Wi-Fi module can be connected to the HC-SA164DBT central controller, which has an output for control via the Modbus RS485 protocol.
If the HC-SA164DBT central controller is used, the Wi-Fi module can be connected directly to the central unit. The Wi-Fi module can be connected directly to MRV series 5 outdoor units, or to the HA-MA164AD converter if the outdoor units are NOT series 5.
With this configuration the MRV system can be controlled even without a local central controller, using only the app installed on a tablet or smartphone, ensuring stable and fast Wi-Fi coverage of the module.
