MB Frigo Group delivered to Norway a CO2 cooling split system of its own construction and production with a capacity of 12.5 kW for low temperature applications (cold room temperature -20 ºC). The refrigeration split system consists of a compressor unit, a separate intercooler, a gas cooler, a high-efficiency evaporator and an electric control cabinet.

The compressor unit is equipped with a two-stage semi-hermetic compressor manufactured by Dorin and is part of the latest generation of CO2 compressors which work in subcritical and trans critical areas of operation. The unit is also equipped with an oil separation and recovery system, a liquid receiver and an electrical cabinet. The operation of the compressor unit is performed by the electronic controller CAREL series pRack 100T, and the operation of the evaporator in the cold room is performed by an electronic expansion valve, Danfoss series AKVH which is operated by the electronic controller Danfoss series AK CC 550A. Both systems are interconnected so that there is no danger of the so-called. uncoordinated operation, and thus the breakdown of the cooling system. Such a connection achieves optimal operating parameters that ensure maximum efficiency of the entire system.

Our Norwegian partner installed the system in a short time, and the feedback is more than positive, as you can see in the pictures…
